How to Feel to Heal

"Emotions are energy in motion. All energy is frequency and all frequency carries information. Based on our personal thoughts and feelings, we are always sending and receiving information.” - Dr. Joe Dispenza

One of the biggest lessons I have learned in life and working diligently towards overcoming a chronic illness, is you must feel it to heal it. I know, easier said than done. All of those stored memories, emotions, toxins (often on loop) must be felt, so that they can be released, rewired and set free. In letting go of all of the numbing techniques we are conditioned to lean on from a young age, I’ve realized all we truly need is within us. We are meant to feel the full spectrum of human emotions, even the painful ones, yet not be defined by them. With the proper tools we can transform our past selves into our fullest potential, creating a new reality.

I was in survival mode for most of my childhood. Born an extreme empath with a compromised constitution from the start, it was hard to truly feel the emotions of what was going on around me without it manifesting physically. I believe the body stores these emotions on a cellular level (creating “dis”- ease) and that physical healing with Bee Venom Therapy* has allowed me enough strength to think greater, FEEL greater, and release what is no longer serving me. It’s uncomfortable. It’s vulnerable. It’s uncertain, but it’s all part of the process.

I’m still very much peeling back deep layers of internal work and programming to adjust to a new being. Everyday I’m learning what this can look like and allowing my intentional thoughts, positive emotions, self-worth and spirit to catch up.

A few of my favorite tools:

1. Breath-work - Identify where you feel stuck emotion in the body.

2. Journaling - Become aware of triggers and past programming.

3. Subconscious Reprogramming - Rewire and strengthen neural pathways to create a new narrative. You must think AND feel your way into a new state of being.

When we are able to get quiet enough in the present moment, we remember who we truly are, who we came here to be and how we are all connected. Emotional intelligence can be our compass, helping us navigate through life with greater compassion and understanding for humanity and healing. Learning to feel the feelings is not always easy, but it sure is worth it.

*Bee Venom Therapy is an ancient modality that has been used for thousands of years in other cultures. It is a potent anti-inflammatory and immune modulator. The venom addresses bacterial, viral and parasitic infections, as well as restores balance and homeostasis to the body. BVT for Lyme is a 2-3 year protocol. It is allowing me the strength to unpeel each layer holistically and bring the mind-body connection back into its natural, vibrant state of being.
